What Starply accesses, and what we don't

Starply connects to your Google Business Profile using Google's official API. We request the minimum access needed to do the job.

We read

  • Your business locations
  • Public reviews on your listings
  • Existing owner replies

We write

  • Owner replies (only after you approve them)
  • Or via auto-reply rules you explicitly enable

We never access

  • Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts
  • Anything on your Google account beyond your business listings
  • Your data to train AI, run advertising, or sell to third parties
You can disconnect Starply from your Google account at any time from your settings or via your Google security page. Full details in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Is it really 'set and forget'?
Almost. You approve every reply unless you opt in to auto-replies for high-rated reviews. It takes about 2 minutes a day.
What happens with a bad review?
Starply flags low-rating reviews (1 or 2 stars) separately and sends you an instant alert. You get a suggested reply, and we recommend writing these yourself. A personal answer from you turns a tough moment into a chance to win the guest back.
Which languages are supported?
Starply replies in the language of the original review. The app interface is available in English, French, German, and Italian.
How do you handle my data?
Your account and review data are stored in our EU database (Supabase, Frankfurt). AI features run on Anthropic's Claude under EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with contractual terms that forbid training on your content. Full sub-processor list in the Privacy Policy.
How do I get access?

What does it cost?
